Israel Aloni at ISPA New York

On January 16, 2025, Israel Aloni, will host a conversation at the ISPA Congress in New York as part of the Coffee Klatch segment. Leading the session “Labelling Queerness,” Aloni will facilitate an intimate discussion with delegates about challenges experienced by artists with queer identities. The conversation will explore how the terms "queer art" and "queer artist" can both empower and limit, encouraging participants to share experiences and strategies for resisting commodified labels while staying authentic to their creative visions.
